1st - Specific examinations

INSTRUMENTS AND SINGING

• Musical performance

MUSIC EDUCATION

• Musical performance: referring to the certification exams of the Corsi di Formazione pre-accademica, secondo periodo.
  
  
• Basic piano and Vocal warm-up, extemporary performances
  
  
• Statement of Purpose. A written statement to be uploaded within application is required. Written statement is a critical component of application for admission and can sometimes be the determining factor in approval of admittance. Therefore, statement should reflect professional goals.
  
  
• Interview. It provides the Admissions Committee with additional information about your interpersonal and communication skills, maturity, and motivation.
  
  
• Sight-Reading, Sight-Singing (for singers) or after two hours of study - may be required at the discretion of the audition committee.

ELECTRONIC MUSIC

Notes

1. Admittance to the Three-Year Academic Course of Como Conservatory will be subject to an evaluation of suitability expressed in hundredths and placed in a ranking list. The evaluation of suitability will not give an automatic right to the admittance to the Conservatory which depends also on the availability of places in each course.
   
   
2. A failure in Italian and/or 1st test(s) will prevent candidates from being included in the ranking list.
   
   
3. Students enrolled who have failed 2nd test (Basic Musical Training Test) will be re-examined in february 2017 (end of the 3rd semester). Failure to pass a second time will result in expulsion from 3-year course.
   
   
4. A failure in one or more 3rd Tests will result, in case of admittance to the Three-Year Academic Course, in the assignment of Formative Debts.
